The three day wet spell in the interior and southern parts of Tamil Nadu has come to an end. The temperature is expected to rise from now on for next two weeks in Tamil Nadu with most of the places expected to record 2- 3 C above normal. Most of the interior places are expected to record 40 C in the coming days concurrently recording their highest temperature of 2016.
City Forecast:
Chennai – No respite for the city with maximum touching 36 C while minimum staying high at around 26-27 C.
Vellore – Temperature to climb step by step to 39 C while night to take dip at around 24-25 C.
Madurai – With rains gone, temperature set to rise to 39 C while night will settle down at 24-25 C.
Trichy – The only interior city which has not seen rain for a long time and the trend is set to continue with temperature peaking to 39 – 40 C and night will continue to be warm at 27-28 C.
Coimbatore – The spell of rain had brought some relief, but the dog says are expected to be back in the coming days with temperature peaking to 38 C with pleasant night at 24 C.
