Dazzling Sun To Takeover As Roanu Makes Landfall

Incredibly hot weather is likely to take reign over the southern peninsula with little rain occurring across the area. Following the landfall of cyclone Roanu, the southwest monsoon winds are likely to travel further along the Bay of Bengal bringing wet weather to the Andamans and Myanmar. Very wet weather is likely in north east India as Roanu’s remnants traverse the region.
Hot weather is likely to prevail across the entire country, except the northeastern states. Extremely high temperatures could turn northern and north west India into a house of pain, with very oppressive conditions in the afternoon.
Isolated thundershowers, on the other hand, could occur in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh with rains at one or two places in Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Chhatisgarh.
