Dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country and same conditions is likely to continue over the next few days. Feeble trough of low at mean sea level near south east Bay of Bengal adjoining south Andaman Sea persists. The said condition would bring convective clouds & isolated rains over Great Nicobar & adjoining waters of south east bay. Day time temperatures was above normal by 3-4 degrees in few isolated places of Odisha, Jammu Kashmir, North coastal AP.
Above normal temperature trend may continue over Brahmapur dt. of Odisha, Guntur, Kakinada, Vijayawada, Vizag & Srikakulam of AP, Khammam, Warangal, Karimnagar districts of Telangan, Nandurbar district of Maharashtra & few regions of western Madhya Pradesh districts.
Moving down south, Parts of South TN districts may continue to see unusual rise in temp particularly Madurai, Tirunelveli, Virudhunagar, Dindugal, Theni.
Conversely, Mangalore adjoining regions, Goa & adjoining Konkan coast might see drop in min temperature.
City Forecast:
Chennai: Clear skies, & day would be quite warm with max temperature recording 31-32C.
Vellore: Early morning & Nights would remain cool. Max temp might touch 32-33C
Madurai & Trichy: Both these cities would see warm, uneasy weather conditions as day time temperature to be slightly above normal. Temp might stay close to 33-34C
Coimbatore: Max of 32-33c expected over the city. Cooler nights to continue.
