The low pressure area over west central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast has become less marked. However, associated upper air cyclonic circulation (UAC) extending upto 2.1 km above mean sea level persists. Under the influence of this southwestward movement, wet weather in the form of occasional showers will return to coastal Tamil Nadu along with persistent heavy rainfall in coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Scattered thundershowers are likely in interior Tamil Nadu and parts of interior Andhra Pradesh along with isolated showers in southern Telangana, Kerala and Karnataka.
