Strong Westerlies will continue to prevail in entire Tamil Nadu with high gusts at periods of time, this will not allow convective rains to develop in Tamil Nadu and also will delay the onset of Sea Breeze moving inland. This pattern is set to remain for next two days. Most of the Tamil Nadu will remain dry while ghat areas of Nilgiris and Valparai will continue to get orographic rainfall.

Coimbatore : Strong gusts is likely to prevail and the day will be peasant at 30-32 C.
Madurai : Less windy compared other cities with temperature settling 36-37 C.
Tiruchi : Maxima to range around 36-37 C with strong gusts expected in the day.
Vellore : Strong westerly winds to blow in the city in the day with temperature touching 35-36 C.
