Light rains may occur over parts of South TN

The feeble Low Pressure Area which has been lying in the central parts of south Bay of Bengal and the adjoining equatorial Indian Ocean continues to persist. It may not bring in some wide spread rains as expected earlier but may bring some scattered light rains to South Tamil Nadu mainly in districts like Tuticorin and Tirunelveli with partly cloudy weather conditions elsewhere.
The rest of TN should be under the spell of sunshine with occasional patches of clouds. Moderate fog conditions to continue across the Northern plains.
