Low pressure area is seen steadily marching towards coastal areas of Tamilnadu.
Rainfall is expected to start over North-coastal Tamilnadu including Chennai city from today , and will gradually increase from night.
Heavy to very heavy rains(6.5-12.5cms /day) is likely to fall over Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu districts of Tamil Nadu tonight and tomorrow (18/11/2021). Rains will gradually reduce from Friday afternoon/evening.
