Stable weather conditions seen over larger areas of the country except for the expected wind confluence that is currently on over central and adjoining north peninsular India. In addition an UAC (upper air cyclonic Circulation) over South West MP and neighborhood extending upto 0.9 km above mean sea level persists. The Himalayan region is bracing itself for a fresh western disturbance as an upper air system in few days time.. Meanwhile isolated pockets of North India will continue to be under a blanket of dense fog and shallow fog is expected to prevail over pockets of UP, Bihar and few North eastern regions.
Minimum temperature will continue to be above normal over northern regions and places over Rayalaseema, isolated places in Karnataka and TN will experience a nip in the air with temperatures dropping below normal. Clear weather with abundant sunshine expected over major areas of TN.

Vellore: Hazy morning over the region, clearing during the day with a high near 31 degrees C and a low near 17 degrees.
