Nungambakkam lost a close race to beating the All Time Record of 1,088 mm set in 1918 by around 50 mm. With the core city missing many spells in the last 2 days the target looked difficult to achieve.
On and off spells of rain is expected to continue for the next 1 to 2 days. As per current track, it looks like the next system will not affect TN coast. But we need to keep a close watch on that.
