Possible change in favorable wind pattern on the cards over TN

Early summer like conditions gripping over the south Indian states. Interior regions of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu & Telangana are reeling under severe heat wave and oppressive conditions. Quite a few stations among the above mentioned states have recorded 40C and higher. This is pretty higher than normal at this point of time.
The trend might continue for at least a day  with sweltering conditions across most interior parts of Southern States. However the fluctuating high pressure area would push east-southeasterly winds from sea and that would help in controlling the day time temp over TN to good extent in days to come. Meanwhile parts of Kerala might get isolated heavy showers for next two days.

Chennai: Possibly another warm and humid day with a slight reduction in the day highs. Nights will remain warm. A high of 35 degrees and a low of 27 degrees on the cards.
