Widespread thunderstorms will continue to develop over peninsular India in the coming days as a surge of moisture is expected to move in. Numerical models indicate strengthening of the monsoon winds across the west coast as the seasonal offshore trough continues to extend.
Another N-S oriented trough exists along central India passing through MP, Maharashtra, and Telangana until Southern TN. Scattered light to moderate spells are indicated across parts of Andhra and Telangana under the influence of an Upper Air Circulation.
