Sun All Set To Recoup Its Throne

Cloudy weather is likely to ease over the southern parts of the peninsula as cyclone Roanu is all set to skid away north east along the East Indian coastline, dropping heavy rainfall in the nearby coastal areas of Odisha and east Andhra Pradesh.
Heavy rainfall is likely to continue over the northeastern states of India while isolated thundershowers are expected in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana.
The heat wave in northern and north western India is likely to continue in full flow.
City Forecast:
Chennai – A return to dog days, as temperatures are likely to climb to 37-38 C. Slight chances of showers in the evening.
Vellore – A warm day with partly cloudy showers with an odd shower in the evening. Max temperatures of 35-36 C.
Madurai – Hot weather with minuscule possibilities of a shower. Maximum temperatures of 38-39 C.
Trichy – Yet another city to go back to summer with the mercury rising up to 38 C. Evening showers possible.
Coimbatore – Dry day ahead with mild temperatures of 33 C.
