For the past two days some Places of North Tamilnadu have been getting good convective Thunderstorms and this scenario is expected to continue for a day or two. On the other Hand, the Well-marked Low pressure area and associated upper air cyclonic circulation persists over Northeast Madhya Pradesh. Some places of Central India are getting heavy showers under its influence. It’s likely to weaken further into a Low and move along the Gangetic Plains.
The off shore trough at Mean sea level is likely to pump the required moisture into to West coast. Ghat areas to get good amount of rainfall. Places along the West coast extending up to Mumbai region will see intermittent monsoon showers lashing with one or two heavy spells.

Chennai: Partly cloudy skies likely to persist. Day might get a bit warmer. Maximum will hover around 34 degrees and minimum around 26 degrees with an evening shower.
Coimbatore: Another pleasant day on cards. Few scattered clouds around. A maximum of 32 degrees and minimum of 22 degrees with one or two passing showers.
Madurai: A pleasant Morning possible. Afternoons to remain hot and sultry. A chance of a shower or two over the city. Day high of 37 degrees and a low of 27C.
Trichy: Partly cloudy skies. Day to remain warm with a high of 38 degrees and a low of 28 degrees.
Vellore: Few scattered clouds around with a gentle breeze from West. A high of 35C and a low of 26C likely. Possibility of a shower or two later in the day.
