TN to stay warm & dry with a shower or two in spots

The low pressure area over NE Madhya pradesh is embedded in the monsoon trough which runs from Punjab to East central Bay of Bengal. This weather system is likely to cause heavy rainfall over parts of MP, East Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Maharashtra, Odisha, Bengal and the NE states. The off shore trough running along the Karnataka and Kerala coasts is likely to result in heavy rainfall at isolated places over the west coast and the adjoining ghats.
TN to remain warm and partly cloudy with a chance of light to moderate thundershowers over parts of interior and coastal TN. Moderate to heavy rainfall likely at isolated places over the ghat areas of West and South TN.
