The well-marked low pressure (WML) has concentrated into a monsoon depression and lay centered over Madhya Pradesh & adjoining neighborhood. This system is expected to move in southwesterly direction for next two days. Under its influence, heavy to heavy rainfall likely to occur at most places of Madhya Pradesh, Central (Madhya) Maharashtra and few places of Chhattisgarh. Isolated places of Madhya Pradesh may witness extremely heavy fall in next 48-72 hours. Another significant trough at mean sea level seen extending from western state of Rajasthan to eastern state of West Bengal on a near east-west orientation. This will ensure rains for parts of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
Off-shore trough at mean sea level seen extending long west coast will ensure rains for west coast particularly heavy to very heavy rainfall over Kerala, coastal Karnataka and adjoining Ghat regions.
Most parts of TN likely to see warm weather with partly cloudy conditions with scattered showers in one or two areas.

Chennai – Partly cloudy skies at day break. Getting warmer and humid as the day wears on. Maximum will hover around 36 degrees and minimum around 27 degrees with an evening Shower.
Coimbatore – Another pleasant day on cards. Few scattered clouds around. A maximum of 32 degrees and minimum of 22 degrees with one or two passing showers.
Madurai – No respite seen here. Conditions remain hot and sultry. A chance of a shower or two over the area. Day high of 38 degrees and a low of 27.
Trichy – Partly cloudy skies. Day to remain warm with a high of 36 degrees and a low of 27 degrees.
Vellore – Few scattered clouds around with a gentle breeze. A high of 35C and a low of 24C likely. Possibility of a shower or two later in the day.
