A trough of low over mean sea level over Comorin persists and this synoptic activity would ensure scattered showers across coastal Sri Lanka and some pockets of extreme south TN. An UAC over southeast Iran with a trough of height of 3.2kms above mean sea level is seen. The said condition is likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir in the next 2 days. Also seen is a trough running along from south-east Rajasthan upto 1.5 km above mean sea level, and is likely to bring light rainfall to Kerala coast.
