The much needed rain spells in interior Tamil Nadu, albeit short, provided great relief. However, the wet spell is on the verge of ending with a rather hot day and low chances of rains. Interior Tamil Nadu could see a shower or two.
Along the west coast, a few places in Kerala are likely to get thundershowers during the day. Far north, in Jammu & Kashmir, some precipitation is expected due to a western disturbance. Very high temperatures exceeding 40 C are likely in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Jharkhand and the western parts of Gangetic West Bengal.
