South west monsoon has progressed further in the last few days with the Northern limit now extending until Gujarat on the west coast. This has resulted in welcome rainfall over these areas and parts of interior peninsula. This trend is expected to continue in the coming days.
The low pressure area over North Bay of Bengal is expected to move closer to the Odisha coast indicating light to moderate rainfall over various parts of Southern and Central India with possibility of isolated heavy rainfall especially along the coast.
