Wind confluence taking place currently over central, east and adjoining north peninsular India. Hailstorms are a high possibility over isolated places over Bihar and Jharkhand along with parts of east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, sub-Himalayan west Bengal and Sikkim during next 24 to 48 hours and tapering off thereafter.
Dense to very dense fog is also likely over many parts of northern India. The induced upper air circulation (UAC) over Haryana and neighborhood still persists. Another UAC over south Madhya Pradesh also persists. Down south, with the bay not hosting any significant system, only isolated light to moderate rainfall activity is expected to occur over the south peninsular India and Lakshadweep over the next two days.

Trichy – Very similar weather to Madurai with maximum of around 31 to 32 degrees and a minimum of 21 to 22 degrees C.
Vellore – Sky condition would be generally cloudy, light rain may occur in some areas.
Coimbatore – Sky condition would be partly cloudy, maximum of around 31 degrees C and minimum quite above normal at around 21 to 22 degrees C.
