Scattered thunderstorms possible over North TN

Due to wind convergence Scattered thunderstorms are possible over North TN including Chennai and its suburbs. 

Low pressure area over Northeast Bay of Bengal will move in a Northwest direction thereby bringing heavy to very heavy rainfall over Eastern and Central India in the coming days. 

LPA will revive the much needed rainfall over ghat areas of TN,Kerala and Karnataka in the coming days. Moderate to Heavy rains can be expected in Cauvery catchment areas, and Ghat areas of TN and Kerala. 

Temperature to remain under 40°C for both coastal and interior regions of TN.
