Are we in for a Humdinger yet again…HG 2025

Folks, Well Well well..It was a grand show, exhilarating stuff on the 30th August evening/ late evening. A day to remember if you’re a big thunderstorm lover for sure. After a week of typical late August seering heat & oppressive conditions one was hoping for a cool down of sorts and the expectations of a high intense Thunderstorm to balance things out.

August over Madras region invariably finds that extra energy/ uncanny ability at the fag end of its run to make a statement of sorts. Yesterday was no different as the heavens opened up much to the delight of those craving for a sustained spell of heavy rains. Every SWM thunderstorm season for MAS region has its own uniqueness with regards to cells formation and the way it gets pushed and pulled along its track. This year till this point they’ve had a liking more for North/ NW and western areas of the city or further down south of MAS. The numbers since the beginning of the season depicts it well & truly. Overall August with regards to HG games has again lived upto its reputation of posting a fighting total yet again and it needs to be seen what we’ve in store this September. Going by the results since the games began, one can expect September to come all guns blazing and to keep the interest alive. By all fairness a Humdinger of a finish is what one would expect the games to provide. The ball is in “September’s” court now… Let’s go.
