Rains to taper off as Cyclone Montha expected to make LF by tonight

As expected Cyclone Montha gave light to moderate rains over Chennai. Most stations recorded around 5 cm of rainfall. Not much is expected in the coming hours before rain stops completely. Cyclone Montha is expected to land landfall tonight.
