Hot weather expected to continue across coastal TN

Coastal Areas of Tamil Nadu including Chennai likely to witness hot day with temperatures expected to vary between 38-40°C.  There is also a chance that early sea breeze onset might save coastal Tamil Nadu from soring high temperatures of 40-41 °C. Towards the afternoon / evening hours,  thunderstorms will form over interior Tamil Nadu and give much needed respite from heat.
