Amidst warm conditions, chance of evening showers over TN
The eastern part of the monsoon trough dips southward over east India and NE Bay of Bengal, while the western end runs close to the Himalayan foothills. A low pressure area is likely to form over west central Bay of Bengal off the Odisha-North Andhra coasts in the next 2 days under the influence of an upper air circulation. These features are likely to bring heavy rains at isolated places in Chattisgarh, Odisha, North-East states, Coastal Andhra and Telangana.
Parts of interior and coastal TN will experience near normal to slightly above normal temperatures. Thundershowers accompanied by squally winds likely at isolated places.
