Temperatures to soar with heat wave conditions over North India
Dry conditions to persist in TN while interior districts will continue to experience maximum temperatures hovering around 39-41C.
Heat wave conditions very likely at a few places with severe heat wave over interior Odisha. Few places in Jharkhand and isolated places over Madhya Pradesh & Chattishgarh too shall experience heat wave. No significant change in maximum temperatures over most parts of the country during next 2 days.

Chennai – Sunny with a maximum of 34-35 degrees and a minimum of 25 degrees.
Coimbatore – Very Hot with good sunshine and a high of 38-39 degrees and a low of 24 degrees.
Madurai – Hot with no winds. High of about 38 degrees and a low of 24 degrees.
Trichy – Bright and sunny with a high of 38 degrees and a low of 25 degrees.
Vellore – Hot with a maximum of 39-40 degrees and a minimum of 24 degrees.
