TN’s wait for rain continues
After a timely start of the Summer Monsoon Season, the last few days have seen a lull in thunderstorm activity over much of Tamilnadu. Atmospheric conditions are continuing to be unfavorable for adequate solar radiation with high clouds dominating during the day. Additionally, strong westerly winds prove to be a hindering factor for sea breeze front to set over the coastal areas further reducing thunderstorm activity.
Meanwhile, the monsoon continues to be vigorous over the west coast with the limits now passing Maharashtra and Andhra over the peninsula.
