Expectation for Rains strengthens along with the Westerlies
Central India is bound to receive moderate rains owing to the presence of an upper air cyclonic circulation. Konkan and Kerala coasts are to be benefited with rains caused by an offshore trough. An upper air cyclonic circulation persists over North Bay of Bengal and adjoining central Bay and is expected to further develop.
With an active west coast and westerly winds gaining strength, thunderstorms are expected to form over interior Tamil Nadu. Decent chances of thundershowers do exist for coastal Tamil Nadu.
