Patchy Rains to Prevail in The Southern Peninsula

The evening thundershowers that have been occurring over the last few days are likely to continue as we move into October, closer to the north-east monsoon which Tamil Nadu eagerly waits for with bated breath. Partly cloudy skies are likely to greet the peninsula in the morning with patches of bright sun peeking through to the ground. While isolated rains continue to occur in Tamil Nadu, the neighbouring regions of Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka and Kerala are also likely to accumulate rainfall with serene grace. Thunderstorms are possible in the eastern parts of the country which includes the states of West Bengal, Odisha, etc.
