Resolute Dry Weather to prevail across Tamil Nadu
Ongoing resolutely dry weather will continue across Tamil Nadu as is normal at this time of the year. Day full of basking sunshine and nippy nights are expected through out the length and breadth of the state. North Interior parts of the state will be predominantly chilly in the night. Kerala and Coastal Karnataka will see very warm day and a pleasing night.
A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect plains of North West India from today. It’s currently parked over Afghanistan. As a result minimum temperature will slightly rise and will reduce after the disturbance scraps through. Cold wave conditions will continue to effect Bihar as there is no let up from fog just yet.

Chennai – Pleasantly sunny with highs of 29C. Night will be comfortable at 21C.
Vellore – Dry and sunny with max of 29C. Night will turn nippy at 15C.
Madurai – Warm and day full of sunshine with max of 31C and min of 18C.
Trichy – Pleasant and sunny with comfortable highs of 29/30C. Night will be cooler at 18C.
Coimbatore – Warm and sunny with highs of 31C. Pleasant 18C night awaits.
