Heat and Thunderstorms to rule the roost in the Peninsula

As the sunrays are starting to fall vertically over Tamil Nadu, almost all parts of the state are sweating under the torrid conditions.
The resultant heat convection accompanied with a Trough in middle of the Peninsula makes the atmosphere conducive to Explosive Thunderstorms in the North interior & western districts of Tamil Nadu today and along areas near western Ghats.
Meanwhile Thunderstorms accompanied by gutsy winds are very likely at isolated places over Orissa, Gangetic West Bengal, Telangana, South Interior Karnataka, Southern Andhra Pradesh & Kerala due to Midtropospheric dipping of a Western Disturbance over Eastern India and a Cyclonic circulation and an accompanying trough running from Madhya Pradesh to Comorin sea.
