Twin lows to pull SWM into Indian mainland

With the help of twin lows at the either side of peninsular India Southwest Monsoon has further advancement into some more parts of Southeast Arabian Sea, Maldives, Comorin area and southwest Bay of Bengal, most parts of southeast Bay of Bengal, remaining parts of Andaman Sea, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, many parts of eastcentral Bay of Bengal and some parts of westcentral and northeast Bay of Bengal.
Conditions are becoming favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of South Arabian Sea, remaining parts of ComorinMaldives area, some parts of Lakshadweep, Kerala and Tamilnadu, some more parts of Southwest, central and northeast Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours.
Up north heat wave conditions are expected over north and central India. Isolated thunderstorms to continue over Tamil nadu and slight increase in temperature expected over north coastal Tamilnadu.

The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Lat. 5°N/ Long. 65°E, Lat. 7°N/ Long. 70°E, Lat. 8°N/ Long. 80°E, Lat. 11°N/ Long. 85°E, Lat. 17°N/ Long 90°E, and Lat.20°N/ Long. 93°E.
Squally wind speed reaching 4050 Kmph gusting to 60 Kmph very likely along & off Kerala and Karnataka Coasts, over and around Lakshadweep area and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, east central & northeast Bay of Bengal. sea conditions are likely to be rough to very rough over these areas.Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea over these areas.

Coimbatore – Mostly cloudy with a high of 30 degrees and a minimum of 23 degrees. On and off passing showers in the vicinity.

Madurai – Partly cloudy and warm with a high of 37 degrees and a minimum of 26 degrees. Isolated thundershowers cannot be ruled out.

Trichy – Sunny and warm with a high of 38 degrees and a minimum of 26 degrees. Light rains possible.

Vellore – Sunny and warm with a high of 39 degrees and a minimum of 27 degrees. Isolated thunderstorms possible.
