Rampant Monsoon to continue over Central India
The Well marked low pressure area over northeast Madhya Pradesh and neighbourhood persists. The system is likely to move west northwestwards causing widespread rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy and extremely heavy falls over parts of Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan during the next 2-3 days.
The extended outlook is projecting a fresh low pressure area to form around North Bay of Bengal by July 28-29, which will further spur on the monsoon flows into the Northern plains and Central India leading to one more round of Heavy monsoon downpours along West coast and over Northeast, East & adjoining northern plains.
In the meantime, Scattered Thunderstorm activity is expected over North and Interior Tamil Nadu.
