Monsoon puts a tent in North, South waits
The low pressure area prevalent in southern Uttar Pradesh has almost remained stationary and expected to be that way for next 24 hours. This can trigger heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttarakhand and Haryana. This should also keep Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and North eastern states on heavy rains and flooding risk. The monsoon activity may be revived again by a fresh low forming in bay and continuing the monsoon mayhem in Central and North India.
Isolated rainfall activity is expected along west coast. In Tamil Nadu, daytime temperatures will return to normalcy but expected to be little higher than yesterday owing to clear skies. It’s an interesting day to wait for Thunderstorms in western and North coastal parts of the state. Day time heating with weakened westerlies should improve the probability for precipitation late in the noon/early evening.
