Dry weather day for TN

With strong westerlies in place, dry and cooler weather is expected across the state barring few isolated showers. The much needed break in rainfall over Kerala is set to continue as the offshore trough continues to weaken. Meanwhile, precipitation is expected to increase over central and North western parts of India as a weak low moves through the region.

City Outlook:

Chennai – A breezy and comfortable morning. Few clouds around. A day max of 35 degrees. An isolated shower perhaps towards evening.

Coimbatore – Partly cloudy skies. A day high of 30 degrees with plenty of breeze around. A sprinkle or two during the day.

Madurai – Few clouds around at day break. Day max should hover around 36/37 degrees.

Trichy – A reasonable morning , hazy skies around. Day high of 35 degrees to expect.

Vellore – A comfortable morning leading up to a warm and sunny afternoon. A day high of 35 degrees.
