Scorching day awaits Interior TN whilst the coastal areas can expect a breather in the form of sea breeze to keep things under check. Above normal maximum temperatures are possible in parts of TN. Isolated rain is likely over North and NorthWest pockets of Tamil Nadu during evening hours.

Heatwave like conditions possible in Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and in some parts of Uttar Pradesh. Thunderstorms very likely at few places over Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha and other Northeastern states of the country.

Chennai – Mainly clear skies with max temp and min temp to be around 35-36c and 25c respectively.

Vellore – Warm and Sunny weather with max and min to be around 38c and 24-25c.

Trichy – Clear skies with maximum temperature around 39-40c and min around 25c.

Madurai – Very warm weather, maximum temperature likely to be around 39-40c and min around 24-25c.

Coimbatore – Warm and dry weather with maximum temperature may touch 36-37c and min of about 23-24c. Some chances for evening Thunderstorms.
