Arid weather to prevail over TN
The depression over West central Bay of Bengal has moved North-northwestwards and crossed Odisha causing heavy to very heavy rains in the states of West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, East Bihar and other North Eastern states of India. Squally winds speed reaching 30-40 Kmph gusting to 50 Kmph very likely along and off North Odisha and West Bengal coast. The East west shear zone across south Peninsula roughly along Lat 14.0°N at 5.8 Km above mean sea level persists.
Chances of precipitation over Tamil Nadu has gradually decreased. Dry weather is expected to prevail in Tamil Nadu.
