Benign weather to continue across TN
Cool and dry weather is expected across most parts of the state barring few mild isolated showers near coastal areas. Slight rise in night time lows are seen along coastal areas with milder inland temperatures owing to clear skies. Numerical weather models indicate an easterly wave moving over TN this weekend and which is expected to bring numerous showers.
Many parts of the parched southern districts should likely be benefited from this wave.

Trichy – Brilliant sunshine with a high of about 31 degrees and a low of about 19 degrees.
Madurai – Warm with a high of about 32 degrees and a low of about 19 degrees.
Vellore – Pleasant with a high of about 30 degrees and a low of about 16 degrees.
Coimbatore – Warm and bright with a high of about 31 degrees and a cool night of about 16 degrees.
