Cyclone “VARDAH” forms over the Bay of Bengal
Cyclone Vardah over south east Bay of Bengal has been bringing very wet weather to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands over the last few days. It is all set to change track towards mainland India and is expected to hit the coast in the next 3-4 days. The system is expected to intensify as it begins to move north westwards during the next 24 hours into a severe cyclonic storm. With the available present synoptic conditions, the official track forecasts a possible landfall between Nellore and Kakinada around the late afternoon/evening hours of 12th December , as a slightly weakened system.

Madurai can expect a slightly warm day with cooler nights. Day time maximum can settle around 33 C.
Coimbatore can expect a dry and comfortable day with a maximum day time temperature of 30 C.
Trichy can have partly cloudy skies with a day time high settling around 32 C.
Vellore will have a comfortable day with day time high settling around 30 C.
