Dry and hot weather to prevail in most parts of TN

Temperatures soar upto 39°C over few places in central interior Tamil Nadu. Dry and hot weather to prevail over many Districts of TN. Possibilities of moderate rains during earlier next week for parts of Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli district.

Parts of central and northern coastal areas of Kerala and few places over Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh may receive isolated rains / Thundershowers. Maximum temperatures very likely to rise by 2-3°C over parts of Central India, northwest and interior parts of peninsular India during next few days.

City Outlook:

Chennai – Partly cloudy sky and warm. Minimum and maximum temperature is likely to settle around 25 and 34 degree celsius respectively.

Vellore – Very warm and sunny as max settles at 38C. Nights will be relatively comfortable at 23C.

Trichy – Temperatures soar and hot conditions set to prevail with high around 39C and minimum of 26C.

Madurai – Hot and blazing sunshine with highs of 39C and lows of 24C.

Coimbatore – Hot and sunny with highs of 37C and lows of 24C.
