Dry & warm weather to prevail across most of TN

Dry weather is set to prevail across many parts of TN with temperatures remaining above normal by 1-2 C in most places. The northern districts of Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur and Vellore may see isolated convective rainfall during evening / night.

City Outlook:

Chennai – Thundershowers possible in the suburbs / outskirts with the day  maximum of 34-35 C.

Trichy –  Will continue to top temperature charts in Tamil Nadu with max temperature of 38 C. It will remain dry without any rains.

Madurai – Horrible day with the heat peaking around 38 C with no chance of rains.

Vellore – Dry day on cards with mercury touching 36-37 C during the day.

Coimbatore –  Temperature to settle at 34 C with a chance of light rains.
