Evening/Late evening Thunderstorms to continue over North Coastal TN

The monsoon trough lies close to the Himalayan foothills. Another trough runs from Sub Himalayan Bengal to northwest Bay of Bengal. This feature will result in heavy rainfall at isolated places over parts of East and North East India. A weak off shore trough runs from Maharashtra to Kerala coast due to which heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and Kerala.
An upper air circulation lies over Maldives-Lakshadweep area. Scattered thundershowers are likely over parts of Interior and Coastal TN, with squally winds at a few places.
