Interiors continue to sweat out in Tamil Nadu
Yet another hot day awaits interior districts of Tamil Nadu as summer like conditions affirm its position. Temperatures will soar as high as 40C in places like Madurai, Trichy and Karur with no respite even by evening. Coastal areas will see warm morning followed by early sea Breeze making things bearable. North West Interior districts will see Thunderstorms by late noon which are slipping in from neighbouring South Interior Karnataka where hails lashed few places already for past 2 days including Bengaluru.
Up North, heat wave engulfs parts of Haryana, South west Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Saurashtra, Kutch and Rajasthan. In contrast, a trough running from east Bihar to Interior Odisha will bring vast swathes of East and North East India under seasonal Thunderstorm rains accompanied with squall.
City Outlook:
Chennai – Warm and sunny as max temperatures will touch 35C. Night will be very warm at 28C.
Vellore – Very warm and sunny weather to prevail with highs of 37C. Nights will trend moderate at 25C.
Trichy – Very hot and sunny as mercury will soar to 40C. Night will be very warm at 26C.
Madurai – Very hot and sunny as mercury settles at 40C. Warm night at 26C is expected.
Coimbatore – Very warm and sunny with highs of 37C. Warm night to follow with lows of 25C.
