Isolated mild showers forecast across TN

Owing to a surge in moisture at lower levels, some isolated passing light showers/thunder storms are possible over the state. February has been pleasant thus far over most parts of TN, albeit a sharp rise in temperatures is forecasted, starting late next week. This effect will be more pronounced in the interiors.

City Outlook:

Chennai – Low level clouds with chances of passing showers in the morning. Day clearing out with a high of about 31 degrees and a low of about 25 degrees

Trichy – Warm and humid with possibility of thundershowers. High of about 32 degrees.

Madurai –Warm and humid as the day progresses with possibility of thundershowers. High of about 32 degrees.

Vellore – Cloudy start with an isolated thunder shower developing later. High of about 32 degrees with a clear cool night of about 18 degree Celsius.

Coimbatore – Partly cloudy with chance of light showers. High of about 31 degrees.
