Isolated Thunderstorms to continue over Interior TN

As the day time temperatures continue to soar across the interior parts of the state, heat wave like conditions are expected to prevail over West interior Tamil Nadu. Instability persisting in the atmosphere will lead to formation of Thunderstorms across North Interior TN. Scattered rainfall activity with isolated heavy rain and gusty winds are expected over lash few places of South Interior Karnataka, ghat areas of Interior Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Madurai – A very Hot day giving way to a manageable night. High of 40 degrees and a low of 27 degrees.

Trichy – A Scorching day will be followed by warm night. High of around 41 degrees and a low of 28 degrees.

Vellore – A Hot day leading to partly cloudy skies during the evening/night. 60% chances of a Thunderstorm in the evening. High of 41 degrees and a low of 28 degrees.
