An upper air circulation lies over Telangana and Vidarbha. Heavy rain likely at isolated places over Interior Maharashtra, North Karnataka and Gujarat. Heavy to very heavy rainfall likely at a few places over Konkan and Goa, due to a surge in moisture from the Arabian sea.
Scattered thundershowers possible over parts of interior and Coastal TN. Above normal temperatures will continue to persist over parts of South TN.

Coimbatore – Maximum of 34 degrees and a minimum of 23 degrees. Mostly cloudy sky, with chances of light rain/drizzles.
Madurai – Warm weather likely with a partly cloudy sky. High of 38 degrees and a low of 25 degrees. A small chance of thundershowers later in the day.
Trichy – Maximum of 38 degrees and a minimum of 25 degrees. Hot weather likely.
Vellore – High of 35 degrees and a low of 25 degrees. Partly cloudy sky with a chance of light rain.
