Light to moderate showers over South and Coastal TN
The current bout of easterlies have fetched isolated rains over south coastal TN . This light to moderate rain pattern is likely to continue to for a day of two over south TN as well as the remaining coastal parts of the state. A fresh low pressure area is expected to form after 25th over south east bay of Bengal/South Andaman sea which needs to be tracked as it forms. The interior parts of the state are expected to remain dry at least for the next few days.
City Outlook:
Chennai – A cloudy and windy day with a high of around 30 degrees and a low of 24 degrees. Spotty showers during the day are possible.
Coimbatore – Mix of sun and clouds with a high of 28 degrees and a low of 18 degrees.
Madurai – Some clouds with a high of 31 degrees and a minimum of 23 degrees. An evening shower can’t be ruled out.
Tiruchi – Partly cloudy with a high of 30 degrees and a low of 22 degrees. Chances of light showers through the day.
Vellore –A rather pleasant day with a high of about 29 degrees and a low of 20 degrees.
