Moderate rain spells expected for South TN and coastal regions
The trough of low south of Kanyakumari and adjoining equatorial Indian ocean persists. It is likely to enhance easterly winds with moisture over Tamil Nadu in the coming days which would bring rainy spell for next 2-3 days along the coastal regions. Mostly delta districts and South TN coastal districts would see significant rains from the upcoming rain wave.
Interior districts like Tirunelveli, Theni, Dindugal (Kodaikanal) that are bordering western ghats also would see moderate rain spells.

Trichy – Mostly clear with a high of about 32 degrees and a low of about 23 degrees.
Madurai – Chance of light rains. Warm with a high of about 32 degrees.
Vellore – Pleasant with a high of about 31 degrees and a low of about 19 degrees.
Coimbatore – Bright sunshine with a high of about 32 degrees and a cool night of about 19 degrees.
