Much Awaited Rains to commence from tomorrow morning
The well marked low pressure area in the southeast Bay of Bengal has moved W/NW and concentrated into a depression. It is anticipated to intensify further and continue its northwestward track to reach north TN coast by the night of 1st December. The exact intensity and landfall of this system will be clear only when the system comes in close proximity to the TN coast. However, moderate to rather isolated heavy rain is expected to commence over north coastal TN and adjoining delta districts from the morning of 1st December. Meanwhile, moderate showers are also expected in north interior and central TN in the subsequent 48 hours.
