No respite from dry and hot conditions over TN

The trough from Southeast Sri Lanka to South Tamil Nadu across Comorin area extending upto 0.9km above mean sea level persists. Similarly, the Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over North interior Karnataka & neighbourhood upto 0.9km above mean sea level persists. However, no considerable rains expected over the areas.
Heat wave conditions will be observed at isolated places over West Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh. Most places over north west India expected to cross 40C maximum temperature.
