Rains set to reduce over North Coastal Tamil Nadu
Synoptic systems forecast:
The well marked low pressure area over west-central and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal is expected to move closer to North Andhra Pradesh and Odisha coasts.
The Western Disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation over eastern Afghanisthan expected to move slightly east.
Rain forecast:
Heavy to very heavy rainfall possible at isolated places while heavy rains expected at many places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Coastal Odisha.
Overcast weather with some chances of very light rains over parts of Vellore, Pudukottai, Dindigul, Namakkal, Nilgiris districts in evening/night and early morning over North coastal TamilNadu.
Moderate rains, snow to affect parts of Jammu & Kashmir.
Weather is likely to be dry over remaining parts of the country.

Moderate fog expected very likely over regions from Punjab to Uttar Pradesh and over North-Eastern states.
